“Beautiful Hill,” is what Loma Linda means in Spanish… and it is as gorgeous as what it was named for in present day. In the 1800’s it’s beauty was almost taken from the luscious land by the railroads. However, it was recovered in the early 1900’s by the Loma Linda Sanitarium.
